Post Four: Team Work

Team Work

My team has so far communicated mainly via text message on the app Messenger in a group chat set up by myself. We have called once to discuss our work. After a few failed attempts to call further to organise the workload we took to just engaging with each other by texting. We agreed that Apple and Google have created already very effective ways of working with the environment in a sustainable manner.  We decided that Samsung are not taking sustainable steps to help reduce their effect on the earth so we will base of project on them instead of Google. So far we are all just researching into the company and will talk soon about what we all found and take action from there.
Luke and I continued to try to make phone calls but the others were non responsive in the groupchat. We still hadn't gone past the point of getting much further with the project so just Luke and I had a meeting. After a two hour phone call we decided to do the project on Amazon as we felt we had better information on them. We established that we needed to get the project done whether or not the other two would help or not. We decided to do research together on the call and organised how we'd approach presenting the work. We said we'd keep telling them when we were going to call and try get them to do the work with us but if not we wouldn't cancel the meeting as we couldn't afford to do that any longer.
We found that amazon had relations with oil rigs and other information. We chose that we'd do a talk and short movie made on Adobe premiere pro.
